View and manage sessions

Find sessions, understand statuses, and request a reschedule or cancellation.

View upcoming and previous sessions

  1. Click Sessions in the tutor navigation.
  2. Use Period, Status, Report, and Subject to narrow the list. Use search for a student name or session reference.
Desktop The default period is This week. Choose All time when you need older sessions.
  3. Select a row to open Session Details.
  4. On mobile, tap the filter button beside search, choose the filters, then tap Apply filters.
Mobile The small number beside the filter icon shows how many filters are active.

Understand session status

  1. Scheduled usually means the lesson is still expected to happen. A past Session can also remain Scheduled while its report is still due.
  2. Completed means the session and approved reporting record are complete.
  3. Rescheduled marks the old occurrence; open it and use View rescheduled Session to reach the replacement.
  4. Cancelled means the occurrence will not take place. No show records that the required attendance did not occur.
  5. Report labels describe a separate workflow: Not submitted or Reports due, Draft, Submitted while awaiting review, Revision requested, and Approved.

Reschedule a session

  1. Open a future Scheduled session.
  2. Open Session actions (the three-dot menu) and choose Reschedule.
  3. Choose the New start time and confirm the Booked duration.
Desktop The portal displays times in West Africa Time.
  4. Click Reschedule.

Cancel a session

  1. Open a future Scheduled session.
  2. Open Session actions and choose Cancel.
  3. Enter a clear Reason and click Send cancellation request.
Desktop Tutor cancellation creates a request for approval.

Mark a student no-show

The current tutor Session actions also include a no-show workflow for a past report-due Session.

  1. Open the relevant past Session.
  2. Open Session actions and choose Mark as No Show.
  3. Confirm only when the attendance record is accurate. A no-show has reporting and payroll consequences.
